The Warren Township Rescue Squad cordially invites you and your guests to attend our Open House for prospective new members and our Wet Down to celebrate our new ambulance. The first part is the open house from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM followed immediately by the Wetdown until 4:00 PM. Everything will be help at our building at 6 Bardy Road in Warren, by the beautiful new Township Municipal Building.
EMS agencies and fire departments traditionally do a wetdown every time we get a new apparatus that enters service. This time we are honoring the new Ford F-450 with Stryker Automatic Power Stretcher so generously purchased for us by the town in 2016. We’ll have food, games, and drinks (for both adults and children). We traditionally do these with the Fire Department, who provide us with the water for the name of course, and we look forward to seeing them there again this year.
The Open House invites anyone interested in membership in the WTRS and serving Warren as a certified EMT. It is an excellent time to ask questions about EMT requirements as well as what volunteering asks of you. At the Open House you can take a personal walk through of an ambulance as well as our headquarters.
Be sure to like and share this event with all your friends and follow our Facebook Event for updates on what we’ll have and what we’ll be doing!
The membership gratefully wishes to thank the Warren Township Committee and Township Administrator for their assistance in purchasing this municipally owned ambulance, call sign 61-R3, that is the cornerstone for these two events.
All fire companies and EMS agencies are welcome to bring a fire apparatus, ambulance, or first responder vehicle to the Wetdown.
The Warren Township Rescue Squad is totally volunteer and relies solely on community members to staff our agency.
